Ms. Seaburg possesses over twenty years experience in SGML and XML. Highlights of positions held during this time include:
Ms. Seaburg has been working within the SGML and XML framework since 1988, when SGML was still in its infancy. Her work with document analysis and DTD design with the legal publisher in New Zealand, lead to her DTD for Statutes being accepted as the national standard with the New Zealand government.
In the past couple of years, memberships in vertical industry trade groups has allowed Ms. Seaburg to be a part of the development of XML standards for their business documents. She has participated in the Air Transport Association (ATA), Petroleum industries initiative ComProServe (Complex Products and Services) in which she was a part of the XML Technical Team. Also, with AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) in their Core Components work.
She was the Technical Editor of the OASIS Universal Business Language (UBL) Library Content Subcommittee, and a member of the Naming and Design Rules Subcommittee and Liaison Subcommittee.
She was a member (as an Expert in her Field) of the UN/CEFACT EbTWG group continuing the Core Components work from ebXML and a member of the Core Components Technical Specification Editorial Team.
